On I Hear the Wind in the Wires actor/vocalist Jim Byrnes teams up with guitar/producer Steve Dawson in a baker’s dozen of classic country songs.

Byrne’s warm, easy voice against a backdrop of Dawson’s many guitars and acoustic ensemble pays tribute to Hank Snow, Howard Harlan, Dolly Parton, Buck Owens, Marty Robbins and Hank Williams, in addition to Tom Waits and Gordon Lightfoot, among others.

You don’t have to be a fan of country music to enjoy I Hear the Wind in the Wires. The album reminds us good performances are built on good songs.
