The second of three new albums coming from prolific multi-Juno award-winning guitarist and producer Dawson is a showcase for his pedal steel expertise and more. While that might not instantly conjure up images of Pink Floyd, the opening cut Cozy Corner could easily be an outtake from some classic David Gilmour session, while the title track is a straight ride into psychedelic C&W. With the Telescope 3 backing, some of the other instrumental parts even overtake Dawson’s tasty playing. All of which adds up to an album that spans genres and styles with ease and so much style.
